All I can say is WOW!!!!!!!!

This letter my nine year old son wrote to a veteran made me cry. I had to share it with you guys!! He also wrote one very similar to my step dad. Wow!!!!

Dear Veteran,

You help us by giving us freedom. You leave your families even when you don't want to. You help our great, amazing, and wonderful nation. You left so much fun. You left your children who probably were sad.

Without you there would be no freedom. We also would be under English rule. We would have danger at every block. There would be so many people dieing. We would have very few types of jobs.

Thank you for being brave for us. Thank you for being so very strong. Thank you for risking your lives for us. Thank you for serving our great country.

Sincerely,
C. D.

Lance and Julie

One for Halloween!

My friend shared this story with me and I thought I would share it with you!

About a year after a new Funeral Home opened near our house, my then 7 year old told me "mom they need to close that place down". I asked why and he said "because they don't have much business". LOL, thank goodness!

I did this bag for a girl who loves the skull design. She also liked black and pink. She wanted a large bag. I did this one 16 x 16. It had three inside pockets and one outside pocket. This is what she had to say about it.

Its perfect and one of a kind..just how I wanted it....
Its beautiful and just my style. I cant wait to pick it up..ah

My newest project

So one of my etsy friends Silknlightsdesigns wanted me to make her friend a bag for Christmas. She wanted a dachshund with her name. She also likes lighthouses. So this is what I came up with.

This was one of my favorite bags to do. It is so personalized and the colors work so well together.

OUR NEW FISH

Ok so Sunday I let my son get a fish. He got a fish tank for his birthday. So he decides he wants a Beta. So we are standing there looking at all the pretty Betas and he is trying to decide the one he wants.

Then he says "Mom do you think anyone will pick this one?" It was for sure the ugliest one. So I told him that I thought they would pick the really pretty ones first. He said "well that is the one I want, because it is special in its own way"

I told him I thought he made a great choice and I was proud of him. So now we have the ugliest fish that is special in its own way.
